Rusolut is a new innovative project founded by international team of experts with vast Data Recovery background. Our team consists of Russian and European engineers, mathematicians and programmers. Visual Nand Reconstructor is a first product in our project. It’s an example of successful symbiosis of the results of years of researches in the NAND flash media field, advanced development techniques and practical experience of world’s leading specialists.

For some time now, most ‘chip-off’ Flash memory recovery tools have concentrated upon reducing their feature sets and manual tools, to create a ‘simpler’ and generally more accessible tool. This kind of tool is often ideal for newcomers and lower skill levels, but is often frustrating and limited for more advanced users. Increasingly, other tools lack the configurability and toolset to allow for more advanced users to crack newer models, without having to resort to building custom solutions and/or workarounds from scratch.

Visual NAND reconstructor goes against this trend, instead providing a comprehensive and highly configurable toolset. Whilst it does include some useful time saving features; such as an integrated solution database for common devices (or those that you have already cracked), which is useful and well integrated – but this is not where the tool shines.

Where VNR really stands out from the crowd is in it’s ability to enable more advanced engineers to build and adapt solutions for new device types. From software configurable Voltage control (critical for TLC and MLC chips), to the manual options and software based block filtering, to the tools to visually identify and reverse engineer new XOR keys – there is no other single solution that is so complete.

This engineer focused approach is refreshing after having used most (perhaps all) other flash memory tools over the years. We have watched in dismay as their features have been removed and/or obfuscated, to the point where they become a time wasting hindrance. We are confident that Visual NAND Reconstructor is the most complete and capable suite of tools that is available for Flash memory data recovery.

There is of course, a learning curve to any complex new toolset. This may prove to be very steep for those that are inexperienced in flash memory technology and recovery. That said, Rusolut’s support so far has been impeccable. Regardless, for those who understand flash memory, the process flow will take some getting used to but I am convince that the end result will not disappoint!


Since we get the tool and software in 2017 our success rate in memorys has grown a lot. The most remarkable thing about the software is how visual and friendly it is to study and understand the cases and go directly to a successful data recovery, even the most difficult ones, since is so visual it gets more easy to use and get into in with the time. It wasn’t a great acquisition only for data recovery in general, but also, for a laboratory like us that makes Pinout Research Development in monolith devices.

There’s a lot of documentation and manuals to consult and evacuate doubts, example videos, downloable exercises and of course, the support for all your needs when things get hard. Have to say too, the events and capacitations are amazing, first level, very usefull and educational, we did go a few and there’s a before and after we assisted in the use of the software, we were assisted and orientated in ways to use the adapters and the program we never imagined. I was very pleased to try the new Visual Nand Reconstructor Suite from ruSolut. From what I’ve seen, they found a new and different type of approach to Nand recovery, by using a visual approach until you get a perfect picture. Indeed I have to say that the concept is very good and well developed.

When I started using the tool, everything seems to be in the correct place. Most of the options are easily accessible with a bunch of clicks. Some of them were not so easily found, but a quick look at the manual took me there quite quickly also. I’ve done a few Nands to test and the results were quite good, while compared with other tools. Mainly, the jobs done by other tools were also done by VNR, what shows the tool is on the right track to be a good option when working with Nands.

Also used tech support a couple of times, to add some features to the software, and they were very quick to respond and even to produce the update, what was quite impressive for this type of tools.

So in general I have a very good impression of VNR and if they keep up the pace, I’m sure they will be on the main suppliers on the area.


What about VNR?
We can resume in few words: WYSIWYG – What You See Is What You Get. It’s name claims VISUAL, and really is. Very easy to understand, visual, fast and EFFICIENT. Has a powerful interface, that allows to play you with data, understand patterns and extract what you want.
The possibility to add or remove steps between others is like a “miracle” so not necessary to redo all steps and you get results immediately. It’s USER FRIENDLY… and most important, UNDERSTANDABLE. No plain text, numbers and mystic solutions that “maybe work” or “maybe not” anymore. Forget everything you know about NAND recovery, and be aware for the future that has a name: VNR… recover data from NAND memories in VISUAL WAY…
