Software update 15 Feb 2016
The new update 1.4.0.1 is released!
It is available in Client Portal
Here’s what we added in new VNR software
New software
- New optimized firmware of reader
- The new element “Bad column remover” (BCR)
- The new option in NAND parameters “Micron Read Retry” for bit error minimization. The value may vary from 0 to 15. When test value is set, cycle power and check ECC map
- The new option in NAND parameters “Sandisk/Toshiba Read Retry” for bit error minimization. The value may vary from 0 to 256. When test value is set, cycle power and check ECC map
- The new function “Read memory chips” that allows to read all chips/crystals automatically
- The Ext3/Ext4 file systems are fully supported now
- The new option “Skip empty areas” in the XOR element that helps to avoid processing of empty pages
- The new option to set “Dump viewer default view” in case settings where user can set Bitmap or Hex
- The new function “Correct errors” that applies correction to dump file is added to BCH element
- The new element “Logical Image” replaced two elements “Block Arranger” with “Data area”
- Automatic power on/off while opening Dump viewer
- “Plane” structure is removed and not required anymore
- The toolbar of navigator is changed, Dump viewer buttons duplicated in each mode
- New standard structures in Structure Viewer now added automatically: LBN, Header, LPN, ECC, Data area (512b)
- Two new buttons added to Unite element – automatic adjustent of area size to block/dump
- The new button “Sync position” in toolbar of Structure viewer allows to synchronize structure to its position within dump/page.
- PageUp, PageDown, Home, End buttons can be used now in Bitmap mode to navigate through dump/blocks (within page when Shift is pressed)
- The option to set default HEX (dump or page) view is added to settings
- Markers table element has been revised and improved
- Selection in Bitmap is improved, when Shift is pressed all selections work within page
- Double click in File system viewer now opens file and save it
